The Beta 1 Release of Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin just came out and while the Alpha version that I had originally put in as a Virtual Machine was pretty stable and had some solid features that I liked I must say that the Beta Version takes this to a new level. I went searching for an image on Google to display here and when I put “Precise Pangolin” into the Search Bar and switched to Image I was surprised to find a blast from the past as one of the top selections available:
And how fitting that this has bubbled back to relevancy nearly 5 years after being originally taken at the Linux Caffe in Toronto, and that I find this image the day that we as a family plan a return to the little slice of Open Source Goodness in the heart of South Annex at 326 Harbord Street.
Cheers and have a great day.
