This Day in Tech History – Slow Death for Napster

On this day in 2002, Digital Media Giant Roxio purchased the rights to the bane of the Recording Industry Napster and integrated its software and Intellectual Property into its own Music Service PressPlay before selling those same rights to BestBuy in 2008…now Napster is all but a distant memory as it has all but disappeared under the veil of Rhapsody.
